Tooro might be ahead of Mubiru’s charges in the table standings, but they are in crisis. The Fort Portal side is struggling both on and off pitch. firstly, players striking because of delayed payments then staff resigning. Early this morning, the Club Media Officer Shaban Lubega tendered in his resignation two days after CEO Moses Tusiime quitting his job.On pitch, Tooro have struggled to record results and it is not even about the results, but the performance. They’ve been so horrible. This was mostly evident against SC Villa last week when they lost 4-1. No fight was put, no resistance witnessed. Had the Jogoos been more clinical, the score would’ve been more embarrassing.Things are not rosy however, for Police. The side has won just twice this season, and Friday loss was their seventh this term.Police have found finding goals so hard at times, but it is the defending that needs to be addressed. Mubiru’s boys have conceded 23 goals thus far, making them the worst defenders in the league after 12 games. They head into the game placed second last with 5points. Tooro on the other hand are placed 12th with 14 points.Comments last_img
