Hughes: Settled back four could be key to QPR’s escape

first_imgQPR manager Mark Hughes believes having a settled back four could be the key to his side’s Premier League survival.Injuries and suspensions have hit Rangers hard and Hughes is convinced that constant changes to the defence have been a major factor in their struggle to stay up.He said:  “Our back four hasn’t been settled during my time and probably before that as well.“It’s not been easy. Ideally you’d want a settled back four and unfortunately we haven’t been able to have that. At times we’ve had to mix and match and just get on with what we’ve got.“Hopefully we can get a bit of continuity in our selection between now and the end of the season and that will help us.”Click here for the Man Utd v QPR quiz – can you score more than 7/10?Follow West London Sport on TwitterFind us on Facebooklast_img
